  Renee Suss, M.A.T., BCBA

Renee Suss, a board certified behavior analyst, is the founder of L2L Consulting.  She has been working with children diagnosed with autism and other related language disorders since 1999.

Earning her Master's in teaching from Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, Renee concurrently received her certification as a special education teacher. She later pursued her certification as a board certified behavior analyst from the University of North Texas.

Renee began working in the autism field as a teacher, writing Individual Educational Programs (IEP), designing functional curriculum, implementing community-based instruction and most importantly working directly with the children in a self-contained TEACCH model classroom.

Renee served as the Director of Consultative Services at Trellis Services, Inc., in Baltimore, Maryland.   During her tenure there, she wrote a manual to implement Verbal Behavior programs.  Ms. Suss also developed a training program, created video modules, and held workshops for the community.

Karen Roth Vescial, M.S., CCC

Karen is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of diverse professional experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from The State University of New York College at Cortland. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and holds certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Karen has extensive training in Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson’s oral-motor therapy and feeding techniques, incorporating muscle-based sensory and feeding techniques within her private practice. She provides parent training to implement home-based oral motor/feeding programs. Her focus has been working with children from birth to five years old, but she also enjoys providing private services for elementary-aged children and young adults.

Previously, Karen contracted with various agencies, which included work in the following areas: pediatric and adult rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, elementary/middle/high schools and adult-assisted living programs. For the past 8 years, Karen has concentrated her work with the local home-based and transdisciplinary early intervention program (birth-3).
