Reducing Maladaptive Behavior Workshop
Maladaptive Behaviors are not as difficult to reduce as one might think. We have a science called Applied Behavior Analysis, (ABA) that provides principles in analyzing and making lasting behavior changes.
This workshop will take the participants through the state-of-the-art concepts of the Verbal Behavioral methodology and present the most effective and naturalistic forms of behavior therapy to enhance learning and decrease challenging behavior. The workshop includes the following principles: reinforcement, DRO, DRA, DRI, functions of behavior, antecedent manipulation, extinction, pairing, manding, and effective teaching procedures.
