Natural Environment Teaching Workshop

Natural Environment Teaching is also called Incidental Teaching.  The essence of Natural Environment Teaching is that learners acquire new skills through dynamic and reinforcing play activities.  Some of the learners that we encounter have limited play repertoires.  Natural Environment Teaching uses direct teaching and pairing techniques to expand the learner's play interests and teach new skills. 

This is an in-depth, hands-on workshop that takes the participants through the process of how to plan and implement these teaching techniques.  The presentation includes the following principles: pairing, shaping, motivative operations, errorless instruction and differential
reinforcement.
