SIBLING GROUPS

Love 2 Learn offers an educational and support group to siblings of children with special needs. This is an 8-week Sibling Group open to siblings of children with special needs. We recognize the importance of offering Sibling Groups as the siblings have unique experiences that may impact their emotional and social experiences. With that in mind, the purpose of this Sibling Group is to provide an environment for the siblings to dialogue about their distinctive experiences with having a sibling with special needs. This group will provide a fun and safe environment where siblings can connect with others while sharing their experiences. Moreover, the siblings will gain skills to manage and cope with stressors they may experience in interacting with their siblings with special needs from the group facilitators and peers in the group.
