Love 2 Learn's Speech and Language department is headed by Karen Roth Vescial, M.A., CCC-SLP.  Karen is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of diverse professional experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from The State University of New York College at Cortland. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and holds certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Karen has extensive training in Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson’s oral-motor therapy and feeding techniques, incorporatiing muscle-based sensory and feeding techniques within her private practice. She provides parent training to implement home-based oral motor/feeding programs. Her focus has been working with children from birth to five years old, but she also enjoys providing private services for elementary-aged children and young adults.Karen has experience working with various agencies, which included work in the following areas: pediatric and adult rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, elementary/middle/high schools and adult-assisted living programs. For the past  8 years, Karen has concentrated her work with the local home-based and transdisciplinary early intervention program (birth-3).
