L2L’s Early Intervention Clinic is located in Huntington Beach California. Clinic services are available from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Our Natural Environment Teaching space offers learners the opportunity to explore and interact with stimulating toys and novel activities. In addition, we have individual work spaces that are free from distractions so that when appropriate learners can begin to develop the ability to sit and work at a table setting.
Each learner’s progress is systematically monitored by using either the VB-MAPP or the ABLLS-R assessment, curriculum and skills tracking guides. L2L staff utilize these tools to clearly assess baseline skills and progress after each session. Interventionists spend time to design each session so that skills are taught in new and fun ways that keep our learners on their toes. After each session staff assess the effectiveness of reinforcers and techniques. Supervisory staff is on site at all times to support interventionists in maintaining an environment where teaching opportunities are plentiful and steady progress is celebrated.
Our staff includes the following professions: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist. The majority of our behavior interventionists have either a B.A. or M.A. degree. While our staff is well educated, most importantly they seek to bring the best out of each of our learner’s through dynamic, creative and playful intervention.

Learners have the opportunity to play with peers in small and large group settings. Our Natural Environment Teaching space invites parallel play and peer interactions. Interventionists capture these occasions and teach learner’s to request toys from each other, share toys, and label exciting moments. In order to maintain a therapeutic environment we limit groups to 6 learners.
