Renee Suss Keisman, M.A.T., BCBA

Chief Executive Officer

Renee Suss Keisman is the founder and Executive Director of Love 2 Learn Consulting. She has worked and studied in the field since 1998. Renee gained her initial training at Kennedy Krieger Institute in the role of a Special Education Teacher. She then completed her Behavior Analytic coursework from the University of North Texas and earned her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2007. Renee has had the opportunity to present at state and national conferences on various ABA subjects such as staff training, best practices in the development of communication and data collection procedures to just name a few. In 2008, Renee founded Love 2 Learn Consulting with the goal of building a company that is known for providing the highest quality services available.

Isaac L Bermudez, M.S., BCBA

Chief Operating Officer

Isaac Bermudez has been providing services in applied behavior analysis since 1998. He received his graduate degree from the California State University, Los Angeles in psychology with a specialization in behavior analysis. Isaac has worked for several non-public agencies in Southern California focusing his work on supervising direct intervention of children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, consulting and training staff, parents, and other professionals, as well as conducting and reviewing functional assessments and behavior plans. In 2005, he became a board certified behavior analyst and the following year was honored at the California Association for Behavior Analysis annual conference as the recipient of the Julie Vargas Award for excellence in research. In addition, Isaac stays active in the field by conducting workshops, symposiums, and being a discussant at state and national conferences on topics such as full-inclusion, school consultation, behavior phenotypes, and behavior intervention plans. He recently co-authored several articles for the Association for Professional Behavior Analyst (APBA) monthly newsletter on issues related to functional assessments and technology for behavior analysts. Isaac’s professional philosophy is to passionately lead staff by training and supporting them to provide top-notch services to our clients and families with the goal of helping them realize their learning potential.

Howard Tsernov has been working with children and young adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities since 1988. Howard received his Masters of Arts Degree in Speech Pathology from Kean University in New Jersey. In 2000, Howard received his Certification as an Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication Provider from California State University, Northridge.During his 15 years working in the field as a Speech Pathologist, Howard worked in both the school and home settings providing speech and language therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Howard was a member of the Early Intervention Screening Team for 10 years, working together with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, School Psychologists and Social Workers. As a Speech Pathologist, Howard also provided services to students in order to enhance social skills and their success in mainstreaming/inclusion. Howard has provided staff training to school districts and SELPAS throughout Southern California in the areas of Functional Communication Training, Verbal Behavior, Principles of ABA and Full Inclusion. In addition, Howard has conducted workshops and symposiums at state and national conferences on topics such as, Functional Assessments, Self Injurious Behavior and Facilitating Social Skills through the use of ABA Methodologies.Howard believes that the development of effective treatment intervention packages requires the collaboration of a strong multidisciplinary team that will work together to create an individualized program for each client.

Insurance Program Director

Tricia Wilkinson, M.Ed, BCBA received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development at California State University, Long Beach. While studying autism and related disabilities in her undergraduate program, Tricia became intrigued and fell in love with the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. She received her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University. In addition, Tricia completed the Board Certified Behavior Analysis program through Florida Institute of Technology.Tricia has over ten years of experience working with children with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, ADHD and other related disabilities. At Love 2 Learn, Tricia has structured and ran the Lead Behavior Interventionist Program and mentored our BI team in achieving their professional growth. Tricia has worked as a Clinical Supervisor and Parent Consultant were she conducted Early Intervention assessments and Behavioral Management Functional Behavior Assessments before transitioning to the Insurance Program in 2013. Tricia is knowledgeable in the guidelines and structures of each insurance provider and continues to grow to educate the program through webinars and extensive research of ABA services through insurance providers.

Behavioral Services Program Director

Nicole Azevedo attended Vanguard University of Southern California where she received her BA in Psychology & Sociology in 2007. She then received her MS in Clinical Psychology from there as well in 2009. Nicole began her career in ABA as a BI/PC in 2009 and continued to advance in the profession. Nicole became certified in February of 2015 and holds her BCBA. She completed her MFT intern hours and plans on sitting for her license in early 2016. Currently, Nicole runs Developmental Evaluations for children under the age of 3, and serves as the behavioral services Program Director for L2L. Nicole enjoys attending CALABA annually to stay up to date with advances in the field as well as talking with colleagues about best practices and field advancements daily.

Laura Cave, M.A.T., BCBA received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. She began working in the field of ABA in 2005 as a Behavior Interventionist. Throughout the years, Laura advanced in the field working as a Parent Consult and Case Supervisor for various organizations.In 2012, Laura achieved a Master of Arts in Teaching, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, from National University. She joined the Love 2 Learn team in 2013 where she has been working as a Clinical Supervisor. Laura has a rich background in Pivotal Response Training which has blended well with Love 2 Learn’s Natural Environmental Teaching program. Laura has such a strong passion and drive for helping children reach their developmental milestones. “I feel a sense of accomplishment and can’t wait to teach them the next skill. I am highly reinforced by my learners and their families.” Laura is described as having “the ability to light up a room and make people smile.” That energy and life radiates to her clients and families. Aimee E. Filipponi, M.S., BCBA (Clinical Supervisor) received her Bachelor of Science in Childhood and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton, her Master’s of Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California and completed coursework through Florida Institute of Technology for Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA®).
Aimee has worked with children and adolescence for twelve years serving in many capacities; starting out as a preschool teacher, working as a children’s ministry director at Pacific Pointe Church OC, as well as doing play therapy with emotionally disturbed children at Orange County Head Start. Upon finishing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology she started working at Love 2 Learn Consulting, LLC as a behavioral therapist serving families in many settings from clinic, home, to preschool. She has served as a clinical supervisor and parental consultant to families within Love 2 Learn Consulting. Angelina began her career in behavior analysis in 2006, following her youngest brother’s Autism diagnosis. It became her mission to help her brother, and she quickly realized a passion for helping other children who faced similar challenges. In 2010, she graduated with her Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University, and later completed BCBA coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. In addition to being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Angelina is also a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She plans to focus her practice on families of special needs children, as she knows first hand just how deeply parents and siblings are affected. She specializes in Verbal Behavior, and is trained in social stories, Pivotal Response Training, Play Therapy, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Natural Environment Teaching. Angelina volunteers with several autism organizations and attends annual CalABA conferences. Her brother remains her most powerful inspiration, and her personal connection to those with developmental disabilities makes her uniquely attuned to the needs of families.

Becky Wiens received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Redlands and her Masters in Clinical Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. Becky has been working with both children and adults with special needs for 30 years. Becky leads Love 2 Learn’s Parent Consultation program, where she runs monthly training and support meetings and as is the respected mentor to many Parent Consultants. Becky has a gift for reconfiguring our ABA technology into parent friendly verbiage as well as coining many “catch phrases” that help parents and staff members remember a parenting procedure. In addition to Becky’s many roles with Love 2 Learn, one of her biggest gifts is bringing her extensive experience in the field, along with her ability to combine her prior experience with counseling with ABA to develop professional relationships with families and produce meaningful differences in Love 2 Learn’s clients. Last but not least, the children are always thrilled to see ‘Miss Becky’ when they come in. She displays so much enthusiasm and excitement when she arrives to support our social skills classes in the clinic. Becky states, “I get a great deal of satisfaction helping learners of all ages reach their potential.” Love 2 Learn Consulting is privileged to have ‘Miss Becky’ on staff supporting our clients and their families as well as mentoring our staff.

Melyssa Zive attended the University of Denver and received her undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology and went on to receive her Masters in Social Work. She has been providing services to children and their families on the autism spectrum since 2007. Prior to moving to California, Melyssa ran a private practice in Denver, Colorado providing cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescence on the Autism Spectrum, running social skills group and facilitating sibling groups. Melyssa enjoys supporting families in celebrating each and every accomplishment of their child. She loves seeing children learn a new skill and their smiles are highly reinforcing. She feels very strongly that we build upon a child’s strengths in order to decrease the deficits that he/she may have. Born in London, England Yanik Bryan traveled back and forth between countries as he went to school both in the states and the UK. He attended Loyola Marymount University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. He then received his Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University, Los Angeles. After receiving his undergrad, Yanik began practicing ABA therapy and went on to receive his BCBA license in 2013. Yanik specializes in aggressive behaviors and helping parents cope with their situation. Yanik has traveled throughout the UK, enjoys playing soccer, and working on motor cycles in his free time. He also attends CalABA events, conferences regarding assessments, and makes an effort to keep up to date on his CEU’s. Yanik’s future goals are to ABA to multiple industries and possibly invent some form of independent reinforcement for children under the age of 10. Wynnette started working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in 2005, providing services to children and their families. She earned her Master of Science degree in Psychology, specializing in ABA in 2009 and became a BCBA in 2011. Wynnette has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Love 2 Learn since 2012.
Wynnette has extensive experience in providing ABA-based services in the home, school, and clinic settings. As a classroom teacher for a non-public school, she implemented student IEP goals during the regular academic school year and implemented skill maintenance programs for students during seasonal camp programs. As a Behavior Consultant, Wynnette designed and implemented transition programs for school-age, high school, and adult clients. She also managed staff training programs.
Wynnette enjoys working with others in reaching a child’s potential. Her strong belief in ongoing collaboration on a child’s support team helps focus on strengths versus shortcomings. She abides by the saying, “team work makes the dream work” when it comes to her work ethic with others. Wynnette now works as a Clinical Program Manager, overseeing treatment programs and providing Parent Consultation. Her clients range from 16 months to 16 years of age. Wynnette is known for having exceptional attention to details and for making herself available to support both her families and staff alike.

Taylor Brooks was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated with her BA in 2012. At Temple Taylor studied Speech-Language-Pathology and Psychology, with her main interest being in human development and behavior. Taylor began working with children with autism in 2012 when she was working in a public school and babysitting two boys with autism. It was then that Taylor decided to change her degree focus to Applied Behavior Analysis. Taylor received her MS in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2015 from an online program through Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and is now a BCBA at Love 2 Learn. Taylor currently specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis, working with children and their caregivers to successfully change problem behaviors into appropriate, positive behaviors. In the past Taylor also worked as a speech-language-pathologist assistant (SLPA) in California, working with early intervention clients. Every day people constantly change through the influence of their environment, and Taylor is ecstatic to be able to positively change the lives of her clients every single day. Clinical Program Manager

Ruben received his BA in Psychology from California State University Long Beach in 2007. After which he attended Alliant International University and received his MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2010. Ruben was introduced to the field of ABA in 2011 and quickly shifted his career aspirations. He completed his ABA online coursework from University of North Texas and became a BCBA in 2016.

Ruben has worked with children and adults for over 9 years within varying capacities. Since beginning his ABA career Ruben has served as a behavior interventionist, parent consultant, and clinical supervisor to individuals of various ages. In addition to his work with families, Ruben runs the Lead Behavior Interventionist program at L2L, providing mentorship and support for the continued growth of BI’s.

Eduardo E. Espinosa, M.Ed., BCBA

Clinical Program Manager

Eduardo attended Vanguard University where he received his Bachelors in Psychology. He then attended Azusa Pacific University where he received his Teaching Credential in Special Education as well as his Masters in Special Education. After, he went to University of West Florida to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Eduardo has 12 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. He started working in the school district before transitioning to direct ABA therapies. He has worked with a wide variety of clientele, from infants to adults across multiple environments. Whether in home, community and/or school setting, this has allowed Eduardo to gain the experience needed to work with multiple demographics of individuals across multiple disabilities and abilities.

Eduardo is an active member of Latino Association of Behavior Analysts (LABA) as well as an active member of California Association of Behavior Analysts (CalABA). He believes every person has the ability to learn, it's up to us to get them there.

Ana received her BA in Women’s Studies and Public Policy with a concentration in Health and Population from the University of California, Riverside in 2012. After which she attended Florida Institute of Technology and completed her BCaBA requirements. She went on to receive her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in Autism in 2016 from Ball State University. Ana was introduced to the field of ABA in 2012 when subbing as Special Education aide and quickly shifted her career aspirations by dropping out of a Pre-Medicine Post-Baccalaureate program at Northwestern University.

Ana has worked with both children and adults in the home, community, and school setting for over 5 years within varying capacities. Since beginning her ABA career, Ana has served as a special education classroom aide, behavior technician, behavior interventionist, parent consultant, and clinical supervisor to individuals of various ages.

Ana dedicates her time and efforts to working with children and families, in and outside of her community, to gain the skills to reach their maximum potential and achieve personal independence. Ana is excited to become a mentor and create support systems for Love 2 Learn staff pursuing their BCBAs.

Kimberly Mattatall, M.A., BCBA

 Clinical Program Manager II

Kimberly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has been working with individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities since 2004. Kimberly is passionate about creating extremely individualized programs for her clients that focus on ensuring her clients can independently and spontaneously use the skills being taught in their natural environment. She loves seeing her clients gain autonomy and independence through the skills taught in ABA.
Kimberly has provided naturalistic behavioral intervention services in family homes, schools, and community settings, and has worked with children ranging in age from five months old to 22 years old. Kimberly especially enjoys consulting with families, school IEP teams, and clinical teams to help develop interventions that best fit the needs of the child, the family, and the environment.
Prior to joining L2L, Kimberly held the position of Coordinator of Clinical Staff Development during which she was responsible for the training and ongoing professional development of all clinical therapists and associate supervisors. She worked closely with all clinical team members to ensure the quality and fidelity of all provided services.
Kimberly is a member of several professional organizations (CalABA, JABA, and ABA) and thoroughly enjoys furthering the clinical knowledge by attending a variety of different conferences about applied behavior analysis.

Michelle Sabino, a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist, is a graduate of Loma Linda University. Her professional experience ranges from adults to children in the hospital and school settings, with an emphasis on assessment and treatment of client’s diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Andrea holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the state of California as a speech-language pathologist. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from Cal State Fullerton in 2011 and has been working as a speech-language pathologist ever since. She specializes in treating pediatric populations, specifically early intervention, as well as childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). Andrea stays up-to-date on current therapy methods and evidence-based practices (EBPs) by regularly attending conferences and trainings. Hillary Crow, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Hillary holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and her California state license to practice speech and language therapy. After studying at California State University, Long Beach, Hillary earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders in 2011 and her Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders in 2013, Hillary began practicing as an SLP for a school district.

Hillary provided speech and language services to students ranging from age 4 through age 13, across a variety of abilities and areas of communicative needs. She has experience working with students on the autism spectrum, with congenital syndromes, with developmental disorders, with articulation and phonological disorders, with learning disabilities, and with language disorders. Additionally, Hillary collaborated with a range of professionals, including school psychologists, general education teachers, special education teachers, behavior interventionists, occupational therapists, vision therapists, physical therapists, adaptive physical education teachers, SLP assistants, and fellow SLPs.

Hillary also applied her professional knowledge and clinical acumen as a lecturer and clinic supervisor at the undergraduate and graduate levels of the Speech-Language Pathology Department at a local university. As a lecturer she taught undergraduate courses, including Anatomy and Physiology for the Speech and Hearing Mechanism, and Language Acquisition. As a clinic supervisor, Hillary supervised graduate clinicians attaining field experience in the Child Language Disorders and Adult Language Disorders clinics.

Hillary holds a strong commitment to providing evidence-based, engaging, functional speech and language therapy to children, and collaborating with their caregivers. She continues to actively seek cutting edge evidence bases by remaining apprised of the literature and attending conferences and trainings, such as Social Thinking and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).

Occupational Therapist

Ariana, a licensed and registered occupational therapist, graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and Spanish at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008. She also received a minor in applied psychology, knowing that she wanted to go into a clinical profession in order to apply her knowledge to help children and families reach their full potential.

She began to realize this goal when she worked as a behavior interventionist for over 5 years in southern California working with children ages 2-17. She went on to obtain her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. As an Occupational Therapist, she has fully realized her goal to be a clinician that helps children be as independent and successful as possible, while working closely with parents to meet every families’ individual needs.

Ariana is a member of the state and national occupational therapy associations, and plans to stay involved by attending annual conferences to stay up-to-date with the most current evidence-based practice that can be applied to her treatments.

Occupational Therapist

Laura Merino is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist who received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. She specializes in pediatrics, and has experience working in a variety of settings including clinic, early intervention in the home, and schools. Laura began working with children and adults with disabilities as a home based therapy worker while pursuing her undergraduate studies in Biology. Laura’s interest in working with children and families has also provided her with additional experiences in working for military families and serving as an educator for environmental programs to school children.
As an Occupational Therapist, Laura believes in using a holistic, empathetic and collaborative approach to help children meet their potential. Laura enjoys learning about recent evidence based practices in Occupational Therapy, and has attended trainings in the foundations of Sensory Integration, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, feeding, and basics of Neurodevelopmental Treatment. Laura is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys staying active by practicing Capoeira, a Brazilian Martial art form.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communicative Science and Disorders at Utah State University in 2015. Heather started as a Behavior Interventionist in 2015 conducting one on one in home ABA therapy for Love 2 Learn clients. She simultaneously fulfilled her speech internship in the clinic setting here at L2L. She went on to obtain her California SLPA license in 2016 from Loma Linda University and currently works as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. Heather stays active in the field by attending conferences such as CSHA while practicing her personal philosophy to continue to set goals and work hard towards what she wants. Leeann Lam received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Cal State University, Long Beach in 2008. She also received her Associate of Arts degree in the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program at Santa Ana College in 2012. She received her SLPA license in 2013 and has been practicing as a SLPA for the past 2 years. Leeann has worked with children for 10 years. Prior to becoming a licensed SLPA, Leeann worked in the school setting with children ranging in age from 5 to 11. She also has experience interning as a SLPA in both the school and clinical setting. In both the school and clinical setting Leeann served the moderate to severe population with student’s that presented an array of disabilities ranging from severe autism, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. She assisted during direct instruction and provided one on one therapy care. Leeann currently works as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant at Love 2 Learn. Aside from her work experience, Leeann also has also volunteered at Adult Day care centers where she assisted the adult population of 45 years and older. Since her time as an undergraduate student at CSULB, Krystal has gained a wide range of experiences in both research and clinical work. As a research assistant, she investigated and explored different areas of study including word retrieval in individuals with aphasia and discourse production in individuals with traumatic brain injury. She recently had the opportunity to present these topics at professional state conferences to fellow colleagues and professionals.
Her clinical experience ranges from working with pediatric and adult populations including individuals with speech sound disorders, aphasia, apraxia of speech, speech and language disorders secondary to autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, and individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication disorders (i.e., no tech, low-tech, high-tech). As Director of Administrative Services, she is responsible for encompassing developing infrastructure, analyzing current processes, and recommending and implementing procedural or policy changes to improve operations, consultation on Recruiting and Employee Relations pieces of Human Resources, Information Technology, Practice Management System & Databases, Scheduling Department and General & Front Office.June believes that administration is the back-bone of the daily business operations. It’s an important internal function which ensures that all support services within Love 2 Learn are providing the best platform to assist in the delivery of excellent clinical services and customer service. In carrying out her responsibility as Director of Administrative Services, her goal is to ensure that the entire administrative function is strategically aligned with all other business functions and supports the successful creation, launch, execution and sustainability of Love 2 Learn and all it has to offer. June has over ten (10) years’ experience in the field of administration and has worked extensively in administration throughout her professional career which spans the insurance, communication and real estate fields and currently behavioral health with Love 2 Learn. June ensures continued development in the areas of Administration and General Management through various trainings, attendances of conferences and membership & participation in community and professional groups such as Cal Chambers, PIHRA, Connect: Professional Women’s Network, and Project Management Community and National Association of Professional Women to name a few. June prides herself on education of life, culture and adaptability. With her adventurous personality and through traveling and living abroad in both Europe and Mexico, her life experiences have prepared her professional path and what best suits her needs in her professional journey. Alexis Dreyer

Human Resources Manager

Alexis Dreyer is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Ms. Dreyer joined Love 2 Learn in 2014 and leads Human Resources efforts in all aspects of recruitment, performance management, workers compensation, safety, benefits administration, leave of absence, and compliance. Additionally, Ms. Dreyer regularly conducts human resources audits related to payroll practices, policies and procedures, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and I-9 compliance.

On her free time, Ms. Dreyer has her own consulting practice providing practical HR advice and counsel to employers on human resources and employee relations issues. She conducts continuous mandatory CA Supervisor 1825/20 training and leadership training to her own and other local organizations. In addition, Ms. Dreyer serves as an active Chair Member on the PIHRA YP Board by helping others connect to a professional HR network.
Prior to L2L, Ms. Dreyer held various Human Resources positions with across different industries. Over the course of her HR career, she has specialized in recruiting, performance management, risk management, compliance, corporate wellness, benefits administration, workers compensation, and leadership development/training.
