Speaker Series | Ethical Considerations for Discharge, Termination and Fading of Services
Time & Location
About The Event
Fading and Termination of services usually means goals have been met and our learner has achieved progress! And yet, this can be a time of great stress for our families. Although the BACB Ethical Codes give general guidelines for “Discontinuing Services”, there are still many questions that behavior analysts face surrounding discharge, termination, and fading. We are so grateful to have Nicole Rodrigues presenting at our March Speakers Series on how to navigate these important clinical issues in a way that maintains treatment efficacy and ethical integrity for the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Join us as we explore the most common dilemmas facing behavior analysts surrounding discharge criteria, fading, and termination, as well as best practices for resolution.
We will also learn how to plan for and articulate these important components of treatment in a manner that is both accurate and understandable to the consumer.
Nicole Rodrigues attended Vanguard University of Southern California where she received her BA in Psychology & Sociology in 2007. She then received her MS in Clinical Psychology from there as well in 2009. Nicole began her career in ABA as a BI/PC in 2009 and continued to advance in the profession. Nicole became certified in February of 2015 and holds her BCBA. She completed her MFT intern hours and plans on sitting for her license in late 2018.
