Please join us for a cutting-edge presentation on the latest research about why and how we might want to incorporate pets into the lives of people on the spectrum. Taylor Brooks, BCBA and Michaela Smyth, BCBA will share up to date research about the benefits of pet ownership for the special-needs population. Come learn about how animals can enhance treatment efforts in the areas of language development, social skills, and self-help goals. They will also introduce the launch of their own research on this fun and exciting subject matter.
A light healthy lunch is provided following the event for all who RSVP.
